Saturday, November 22nd, 2008 is the last day to shop at the Fondy Farmers Market this season.
December - May: Closed for the season.
Where: 2200 West Fond du Lac Avenue, just north of North Avenue.

What's in Season
Nothing yet but spring is just around the corner. Make sure to come to the market in May to get all of your starter plants for the garden. You will also find some springtime favorites like sugar snap peas, spinach, spring onions, radishes and rhubabrb. Look for strawberries and asparagus by June.

Taste the Season is a cooking and nutrition education series that invites the whole family to learn about nutrition, improve cooking skills, taste new foods, and have fun. Led by culinary and nutrition experts, Taste the Season lets audience members taste, learn, and share new recipes featuring the fresh, seasonal, locally-grown Wisconsin produce you find at Fondy. Food and Nutrition Program Director and registered dietitian, Lisa Kingery, is always on staff to answer any of your food and nutrition questions. Cookbooks and cooking utensils are raffled off at each session. To join the Taste the Seasons list serve for bi-monthly recipes featuring seasonal Wisconsin produce or to volunteer at the workshops, email lkingery@fondymarket.org.
