About: Farming and gardening have always been a part of the Xiong family’s life. They came to America from Laos and love growing their own vegetables. They began growing in America in part because some of their beloved homeland vegetables were not yet available in the United States, and also because farming was how they knew to survive. The family is very passionate about the vegetables they grow, especially their sweet corn. Ms. Lee Xiong, daughter of Mrs. Kia Xiong, says, “I remember shopping at Fondy since I was a little girl and to be able to be a vendor is one of many dreams come true. We love meeting new people and sharing farming techniques and experiences. We have been allowed the time and opportunity to expand a summer past-time into what will be a great business for many years to come.”

Specialties: a variety of annual fruits and vegetables, featuring jicama in fall.

Currency Accepted: cash, Food Stamps/SNAP, WIC and Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) vouchers

We encourage the following producers to join Fondy: fruit & berry growers; meat, poultry & dairy farmers; cheese makers; greenhouse growers; producers of jams, jellies, sauces & rubs; niche farmers specializing in herbs, fresh cut flowers, perennials, heirloom varieties & other specialties; artisans, bakers & cooks making foods or beverages from scratch.

Interested vendors should look over our prospective vendor brochure and participation requirements, and submit a completed Vendor Interest Form for consideration.
