About: The Moua family, originally from Laos, continue their traditional farming in Southeastern Wisconsin. Kai Moua, the family’s oldest son, helps his parents manage their business and works at the market on Saturday market days. The family saves most of their seeds and has built a greenhouse to get an early start on the season. They deliberately intersperse certain crops to minimize weed growth and chemical use.

Specialties: a variety of annual fruits and vegetables, featuring cranberry/pinto beans, lima/butter beans, greens, and Jerusalem artichokes.

Currency Accepted: cash, Food Stamps/SNAP, WIC and Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) vouchers

We encourage the following producers to join Fondy: fruit & berry growers; meat, poultry & dairy farmers; cheese makers; greenhouse growers; producers of jams, jellies, sauces & rubs; niche farmers specializing in herbs, fresh cut flowers, perennials, heirloom varieties & other specialties; artisans, bakers & cooks making foods or beverages from scratch.
