April Showers Bring...
...May Flowers (and Farmers Markets, Too!)

Gardeners, mark your calendars! Fondy Farmers Market reopens Saturday, May 7th from 9am - noon with its traditional spring plant sale. Conveniently open the day before Mother's Day, Fondy is a great place to shop for mom!

As is customary, Mr. Gene Brehmer of Brehmers' U-pick Farms will be there with his tried-and-true selection of flower and vegetable starter plants, perennials, and potted plants. New this season, Weber's Greenhouses - one of Milwaukee's oldest garden centers - will be present with a wide variety of flower and vegetable starters, hanging flower baskets, and other gardening implements and advice. Fondy farmers growing in Fondy Farm Project's greenhouse may also be selling an array of the flower and vegetable plants they have started for market.

Fondy will be open Saturdays from 9am - noon beginning Saturday, May 7th and continuing through Saturday, June 18th. You'll find vegetable and flower starter plants for your garden, as well as decorative potted plants and hanging baskets. Spring produce favorites such as onions, spinach, strawberries, and greens will be available as the weather warms.

Fondy's full season schedule kicks-off with its Fourth Annual Opening Day Celebration & BBQ Cook-off on Saturday, June 25th.
