Fondy's Harvesting Good Health Fair - Saturday, July 10, 9am - 1pm (rain or shine)

From youth to seniors - promoting wellness at every age.

Featuring health screenings, workshops, education and kids' activities from over 30 health organizations. Health screenings include cholesterol, glucose, body mass index, blood pressure and H1N1. Workshops include yoga for kids, massage, t'ai chi, capoeira, kickboxing and zumba. Education includes nutrition for kids, bike safety, urban gardening, herbal remedies, healthy cooking, breastfeeding, breast cancer support, mental health, dental health and more.

All participants get a chance to win a mountain bike, Wii Fit exercise video game, a 3-month YMCA family membership, and many more fitness-related prizes!

Presenters at the Harvesting Good Health fair include the Bicycle Federation of Wisconsin,Alice’s Garden, the American Diabetes Association, the Medical College of Wisconsin,Prevent Blindness Wisconsin, Saint Joseph’s Hospital, the UWM Exercise Science Department, Milwaukee Urban Garden, YMCA, and the Westside Healthcare Association.
