Farmers are Trickling In!

The weather has been favorable for growing and farmers are beginning to harvest their spring vegetables earlier than usual! We had four farmers at the market last Saturday, and they should be at Fondy Saturdays in June.
We're open Saturdays, 9am - noon through June 19. Fondy's Opening Day Celebration & BBQ Cook-off on June 26 kicks-off Fondy's full season schedule: Saturdays, 7am - 3pm and Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8am - 3pm.
Here's what's in season:
Leaves & greens: spinach, mustard greens (slick and curly), turnip greens, collard greens, swiss chard, lettuce, sweet potato leaves
Onions: green onions, garlic scapes
Herbs: cilantro, dill
Plants: flowers and seedlings for your garden

Seasonal recipes with local produce cooked live at the Fondy Farmers Market every Saturday from June 25th to October 1st from 9am to noon and taped for MCM Channel 14.
