Congratulations to Fondy's Fourth Annual Greens Throw-down Winners!

Nine contestants competed on Saturday, July 23rd in Fondy's 4th annual Greens Throw-down. New this year was revised judging protocol giving more weight to recipes showcasing originality. This might account for the surprising amount of vegetarian entries - six were vegetarian. Recipes ran the gamut from vegan to traditional Southern. In the end, both first and second place winners cooked up traditional Southern greens. In an upset victory Barton Clark beat out three-time champion Joyce Lee to place first. Ms. Lee followed only one point behind as the runner-up.
