Intern at Fondy Farmers Market
Fondy Internship Opportunities: Market Evaluation, Market Research, and More!
Intern at a farmers market! Spend your summer learning about the inner workings of a farmers market and the diverse producers and and customers it supports. And, support Fondy by sharing your time and skills to work on a project of interest to you.
Internships are unpaid but offer valuable research experience at a vibrant urban farmers market. Note that students may receive credit for completion of a long-term project with Fondy by developing it into an independent study course through an academic department.
Currently, Fondy is accepting applications for a Market Evaluation Intern and a Market Research Intern for the 2011 season. The Market Evaluation Intern will oversee data collection, while the Market Research Intern will oversee data entry, interpretation, and reporting. The internships are ideal for students of social sciences, urban planning, business and marketing, economics, geography, GIS, and nonprofit administration.
